The agreement that governs estimates, scheduling, payment, and project scope for Superior Painting and Custom Finishes Inc.
Last updated: September 18, 2026
By requesting an estimate, scheduling work, or otherwise engaging Superior Painting and Custom Finishes Inc ("Superior Painting," "we," "us") for any service, you ("Client," "you") agree to the terms set out on this page. If you do not agree with these terms, do not request or schedule work.
Estimates are provided free of charge and are based on the scope of work discussed at the time of the walk-through. Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued. Pricing is not guaranteed beyond that window. Any change to scope, materials, or site conditions discovered after the estimate may result in a revised quote, which will be communicated and approved before work proceeds.
Most projects begin within 2 to 3 weeks of an accepted estimate and signed agreement. Start dates and completion timelines are estimates, not guarantees, and may be affected by weather, material availability, site access, and prior project commitments. We will communicate any schedule changes as soon as we are aware of them.
Payment terms, including any deposit, progress payments, and final payment due dates, are specified in the written agreement for each project. Final payment is due upon completion of the agreed scope of work. Invoices not paid within the stated terms may be subject to late fees as permitted by North Carolina and South Carolina law.
The Client agrees to provide reasonable access to the work area, clear the space of furniture and belongings where practical, and disclose any known hazards (lead, asbestos, moisture, structural issues) before work begins. Superior Painting is not liable for damage to items left in the immediate work area after prep has been requested.
We warrant our workmanship against defects in application for the period stated in your written agreement. This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear, moisture intrusion, structural movement, improper maintenance, or conditions not disclosed prior to the start of work. Warranty claims must be made in writing within the warranty period.
Superior Painting's total liability for any claim arising out of services performed is limited to the amount actually paid by the Client for the specific work giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Either party may cancel a scheduled project with written notice. If the Client cancels after materials have been ordered or prep has begun, the Client is responsible for any non-refundable costs incurred up to the cancellation date.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, for projects located in North Carolina, and by the laws of the State of South Carolina for projects located in South Carolina. Any dispute shall be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction over the project location.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version current at the time your agreement is signed governs your project. Continued use of this site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Questions about these terms can be directed to Superior Painting and Custom Finishes Inc by phone at (828) 807-8215 during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
